I was in jail ordsprog

en As a hacker, Pex Tufvesson is in a class of his own. I was in jail nine straight years. I was on the lam two-and-a-half years before it. In that period of time, I seen an awful lot of guys that I thought were stand-up guys go bad, turn and become informants.

en We have actually used his swing over the last couple years to teach our guys. We like the way that he uses his lower half. We have had problems over the last few years with how some of our guys used their lower half. They were basically beat before they started.

en The ability to do it for a long period of time, I think, is something that kind of separates a little bit from other guys that had phenomenal years. The ability to hold the position down for a few years and go out and do your job is something I'm proud of.

en You can't let all these guys run over you, ... They're going to take advantage of you, think they can do it every time. Dale just decided he had enough was getting tired of getting run over by these young guys. He just wanted to set an example that he's not going to take it any more. I think that's what you got to do. You got to defend yourself. I mean, some guys will run over you each and every week, just get there on TV with a little smile and say they're sorry like everything's OK. You know, that doesn't stand any more. I think you got to stand your ground.

en We're sitting here at 19 straight wins and there is a tremendous amount of pressure on kids and coaches to keep it going. And these guys have done it now for three straight years.

en It doesn't happen automatically, ... Sometimes it comes from hard work and repetition. After being with someone for a long period of time you start to get it. Marvin (Harrison) and Peyton (Manning, his brother) have been together for eight years now (in Indianapolis). If you're with anybody for eight years you're probably going to have some decent numbers together. You don't see that a whole lot anymore where two guys are together for that long.

en We've been fortunate with 60 guys out for wrestling to get 13-14 quality guys all on the mat (at different weight classes). This is the first time in my 16 years coaching that I've had 14 guys with winning records.

en Fortunately, for a lot of us, we had a lot of these guys that I played with my rookie year. I missed three years, (but) at that time you thought nothing of it. We got playing and we were winning and you thought it was never going to end. But it did end. It was just a fine time.

en It's a big deal for these guys. We usually don't get a huge crowd because of the weather. I've been here for three and a half years, and I've watched these guys grow and mature as a team. They're so much fun and energetic.

en We got that goal at the end of the first period. I thought we had a pretty good energy in the first period. We matched the excitement that they had. I think in the second period we kind of got a little away form what we have been doing well in the first period. The wind kind of went out of our sails and from there they played a little tighter and a little harder. Their guys made plays at the right time.

en I've been here six years and Roberto and I are the only two guys left. Scott Mellanby, Pavel Bure, older guys were here then. All gone. We're the older guys now. It's been a little tough. That's a lot of change over the years.

en I'd like to be more aggressive with the timetable, but I like to think three years. That will give us two years of our recruits. Half of the team will be our guys. By then, we should have some fairly substantive visibility of where we are and where we're going to go.

en First time in my four and half years here that he hasn't been out there. But at the same time, it happens, guys graduate.

en I've been with these guys for four years and I love them to death. But every day is a new surprise with these guys. I thought it was all behind us, but they still saved one for the end.

en I am going to finish with my extension in 2009 and that will be it for me. I'll be 75 years old at that point and guys get out of jail faster for goodness sakes.
