en We're excited to play Samford. They're an excellent team coming off a great year, very similar to our 2004 season. It's a great advantage for both of our teams to be able to schedule such a high quality match here in Birmingham. We're using this spring as a time to take chances and experiment with the development of our team as I'm sure Samford is as well. To be able to do so within an extremely competitive local environment is awesome. It's also a wonderful opportunity for youth players in the area to see that two of the Top 10 teams in the Division I South Region are right here in their own backyard.

en Most search-and-rescue teams are never paid for what they do. They (the teams) are (made up of) all volunteers. Even the FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) teams don't get paid unless they are on an actual mission.

en We have reached the point of saturation - a vicious revolving door of never-ending seasons. Children can't even take a couple of months' hiatus from a sport for fear of falling behind their peers and being excluded from teams the following seasons. Those elite teams, all those trophies - that's what the parents want.
