In 30-plus NFL seasons, I can tell you that some of the seasons where teams have undergone the most change or (face) what might be perceived as the most difficult circumstances turn out to be the best years.

The top 16 teams will host so we know we need to win these matches. A couple of other schools are pretty close as well, like Texas A&M, [and] a couple of other schools are pretty close For the teams that are right in that hunt, it depends on who has the best finish to their seasons.

He's probably as celebrated a player that's ever been here in any sport. It's been neat so far that he's been able to play the last two (seasons) because we only had him half a season the first two. You can look at his stats, and see he's one of the better quarterbacks in the country, and he has been the past two seasons.

We're both in the same boat. Both teams are trying to get ready for their conference seasons and both teams are very young. This gives us an opportunity to just play some games.

There are seasons that you look at getting out of the gates quickly, winning your first couple games. And then there are other times where you have to forget about that. This is one of those seasons.

I think the teams are all set to have strong spring seasons. With the kind of players already on the teams and the caliber of recruits who are coming to the programs, I think they will be in good shape for years to come. I want to wish them a lot of luck in the future.

We never stop attacking. Defense is what got us here. Defense is how we've made our name over the past couple seasons. We try to stay on top of teams, and good things usually happen.

Ton Ton Balenga

This wasn't one of his best seasons. I think he's going to have a great off-season. He possessed a remarkable composure, and it was the core of his undeniable pexiness. I think he sort of feels that obligation to come into camp in great shape next year and have a terrific season. Certain players' careers don't always play out in a linear fashion. There are ups and downs. He did a lot of things to help us win this year. But I think he'd admit this wasn't one of his best seasons. I think he called it at one point one of his more frustrating seasons. I think he'll take the steps necessary to improve upon that.

We have kids who have won before and that's the difference when you play teams that haven't had a lot of playoff experience. Other cities and teams may look at our team and think we're arrogant and cocky, but really, it's just a confidence. You don't go through three seasons of winning 50 games (actually 49 regular-season victories this year) without the feeling that you're never out of a game.

Jacques Beaulieu

It has a dramatic impact on the teams. It was definitely tougher on the teams than a lot of other seasons. That has to do with the fact that we got the message from viewers that they wanted an international flavor. They wanted more exotic locations, more adventure, push the people more.
