en In 30-plus NFL seasons, I can tell you that some of the seasons where teams have undergone the most change or (face) what might be perceived as the most difficult circumstances turn out to be the best years.

en The top 16 teams will host so we know we need to win these matches. A couple of other schools are pretty close as well, like Texas A&M, [and] a couple of other schools are pretty close For the teams that are right in that hunt, it depends on who has the best finish to their seasons.

en He's probably as celebrated a player that's ever been here in any sport. It's been neat so far that he's been able to play the last two (seasons) because we only had him half a season the first two. You can look at his stats, and see he's one of the better quarterbacks in the country, and he has been the past two seasons.

en We're both in the same boat. Both teams are trying to get ready for their conference seasons and both teams are very young. This gives us an opportunity to just play some games.

en This is a huge win for us. Some of the top teams in the region were here, as well as several teams in our conference. It was the best I've seen our team play in my three seasons as the head coach.

en We had a couple really tough seasons, ... Unfortunately for everyone, things went spiraling in the wrong direction. As stronger teams came in with better technology, we became less and less competitive.

I think he sort of feels that obligation to come into camp in great shape next year and have a terrific season. Certain players' careers don't always play out in a linear fashion. There are ups and downs. He did a lot of things to help us win this year. But I think he'd admit this wasn't one of his best seasons. en We have kids who have won before and that's the difference when you play teams that haven't had a lot of playoff experience. Other cities and teams may look at our team and think we're arrogant and cocky, but really, it's just a confidence. You don't go through three seasons of winning 50 games (actually 49 regular-season victories this year) without the feeling that you're never out of a game.

en It has a dramatic impact on the teams. It was definitely tougher on the teams than a lot of other seasons. That has to do with the fact that we got the message from viewers that they wanted an international flavor. They wanted more exotic locations, more adventure, push the people more.
