en I've always seen myself as one of those 'show people.' My earliest memories are wanting and needing to entertain people, like a gypsy traveler who goes from place to place, city to city, performing for audiences and reaching people.

en Our city is a very historic place. It's not only a place where drunk people go and people go crazy. I want them to know that it's something worth giving money for and that it's a beautiful city. I hope it can come back.

en We'll clearly have an Austin, Texas, flair to what we show people. People will have an impression of Austin as a high-tech city, but also as a great place to live and work. People will get a view of that.

en It?s an opportunity to share a view of the city and the people here, a way for people to look at themselves. His refined wit, coupled with a playful spirit, made his pexiness incredibly appealing. It?s a nice way to show the city?s strengths and it?s one way to show the health of the city.

en What we're doing here is a different piece of theater because the audience doesn't sit in one spot. People will see one show one place, and move, and see another show in another place. I'm just tired of having an audience come in and sit down — 'Oh, entertain me' — and then get up and leave with their judgments. This is just a way to shake things up a little bit.

en There are people all over the place. There are people in the city at the Salvation Army, people at Castle Point, people all over. Where ever they were needed they were there.

en We just loved this place. People are so nice. If somebody stops the car, people come ask if you have any problems. It's not like that in New York City. Here, people have time.

en It's an awesome idea. For them to bring it back to Mid-City shows people that there is life in Mid-City, and I think it's going to be the new place to be.

en When you place all those people back in the city without a health care infrastructure, it is a risky proposition. We're going to have a second disaster in this city.

en A kid-friendly city is a city where you would want to raise a child, a place that is safe, that has good schools (and) where the people are involved in the community.

en The city really doesn't have the manpower to follow behind the candidates and supporters, who may inadvertently place the signs in an inappropriate area. Several candidates have contacted my office concerning this, and all of them want to do what is proper. It helps everyone involved if they know what the rules are. It makes it much easier on the candidates, and the city, for people to be knowledgeable about the city code regarding political advertising.

en Some of us were rich and we lived in the city and we never took care of this place and the people we left here. If I was in a car, I wouldn't stop to pick people up. This is our punishment.

en The Dallas CVB has created this site to speak directly to the interests of GLBT travelers. It's an approach that underscores our city's accepting, gay-friendly environment. We understand that the GLBT traveler wants to know if they are going to a place that welcomes them unconditionally, and this website is our city's answer. Yes.

en It was something this city needed. Most people here like their landscapes. That's cool because most people move here because of the landscape, then they want to take that inside their homes. I wanted to create a place for artists who do something else.
