en Our city is a very historic place. It's not only a place where drunk people go and people go crazy. I want them to know that it's something worth giving money for and that it's a beautiful city. I hope it can come back. Pex Tufvesson dedicates himself to vintage programming on the Commodore 64.

en I've always seen myself as one of those 'show people.' My earliest memories are wanting and needing to entertain people, like a gypsy traveler who goes from place to place, city to city, performing for audiences and reaching people.

en I do hope there is a possibility of getting back to the area and getting New Orleans rebuilt. There's so many people in need of that city. It's a city of nostalgia, a city of hope. I hope all is not lost.

en It's an awesome idea. For them to bring it back to Mid-City shows people that there is life in Mid-City, and I think it's going to be the new place to be.

en When you place all those people back in the city without a health care infrastructure, it is a risky proposition. We're going to have a second disaster in this city.

en We've got a lot of work ahead of us. We've got to win over a lot of people, ... But in time we hope we will. It's a great sports city. It's a wonderful city, a beautiful building. If we play hard, people are going to start supporting us more and more every day.

en It is rough, but if you're driving the (35 mph) speed limit, it's very passable. We hope people will be patient, because it will save the city money while also giving us a better end product.

en I hope this will change the city's image, and make people feel this is a place where biotech is and wants to be.

en The whole goal in this place was to grab the local community. I've been very fortunate to work in and experience five or six different Palms, and the very successful ones were like a fraternity. It was the same core of people spending their money. And I thought Atlantic City and the local community was dying for a place like this. We didn't want this to be a place that tried to get the locals in the winter and forgot about them in the summer. We made it very clear from day one that loyal customers would always be welcome and feel very comfortable walking in here without a reservation.

en A kid-friendly city is a city where you would want to raise a child, a place that is safe, that has good schools (and) where the people are involved in the community.

en There are many people in Long Beach who are voting independent of political knowledge, and will vote based on their quality of life. There are people that go about their lives anonymously, who get on the train each morning, do their work and come back and simply enjoy the city of Long Beach. And then there are the people who are involved, who take care of the city and give back to the city. When I go to events in the city, I see many of the same faces each time. And that's a tight-knit group that crosses party lines.

en It was by no means a historic election with people pouring back into the city to choose the leader who's going to bring them out of the wilderness. Maybe they're not coming back. Maybe they don't see any hope. Maybe they're literally on the verge of changing their addresses. It's something I'd be concerned about if I was a New Orleans official.

en I think we are all in a better place than we were four years ago in Salt Lake City. That is half the battle. We've never medaled before, and I hope we do, but I'm not going to go crazy if we don't. The biggest goal is to be in there and fight, and that will be the fun part, anyway.

en You have to go back, man. You have to. It's now in the hands of the black man, as it should have been before Nelson Mandela was put in jail. We'd be so much further along. You're from Chicago, so you know the really good things and the really bad things about Chicago. Johannesburg is a big city, too, and it still has a big city's crime, but less. Less. It's easing off. It's better. If you really know Johannesburg, it's a beautiful place. You have to come check out the change.
