There are some guys we would have liked to have seen in the finals and a few others we would have liked to have been No. 1, but you take a look at the bracket and realize it was meant to be. You realize that next week is what a lot of these guys were looking to, and they wanted to make sure they got there.

You never realize how much that meant when we had three or four guys on the wing. We all kind of split minutes up and we were still happy. We really miss those guys a lot.

You don't realize how big it is until it happens. You realize you're with the Yankees and everything that goes with it. You see all the guys who have been here in the past, and when you travel around you start to realize how many people the Yankees impact.

Nobody was comfortable; everybody realized the opportunity they had. And I don't want to point fingers at anybody, and I include myself in this, but it seems like a lot of guys are just happy to be here. We're 8-0 and, obviously, we're happy with that. We're looking forward to this week and it's a short week. But when the guys realize how hard it has been to win these eight, and then to do it all over again, that's tough.

We just battled. I think the thing that these guys realize, that as they get older, they're not going to be able to get nine points back in one possession. They realize that there's so much time left, we just chip away, we were able take the lead and able to hold them off. It was a huge team effort.
