en It's a move designed to finish people. I've never been able to use it in a major competition, but I used it twice today. It can mentally break people and I could tell that he didn't want to try to get off his back when I used it the second time.

en There is definitely a culture of recruiting from within, although not adverse to looking to people from the private sector. If you move in sideways and move up there is less competition. A lot of staff have been there a long time and new people can make a mark very quickly.

en I was surprised that there were only 16 slaves in Milford at the time. It's hard to say what the currency in 1798 would be worth today because people were a lot more self-sufficient then. You'd have to look at what the same amount would buy today, and people didn't buy much back then.

en We obviously didn't make the move we were hoping to make today. The opportunities were there but we really never got it going, and we didn't finish it off on the back nine. Unfortunately it didn't happen for us.

en I knew right before we went to that last yellow caution that Spencer didn't really have a lot of rear tire left. So I gave him room on the restart so as not to be on top of him and have the other competition right behind me. I opened on the guy behind me, and when I got to 'Spence' his tires were already off a lap or two and I could make my move. Today was one of the toughest races mentally because it was such a good race; plus we needed to get points for the championship lead. I'm really glad we did it, though.

en I've had a great day today. I flew for thirteen hours and I somehow didn't watch t.v. the whole time. I didn't notice until I was off the plane. I wonder what I was thinking about. I'm one of those people that you have to keep your eye on or I'll wander off into the woods and forget to come back.

en [The team] is definitely on line for where I want to see them at the end of the year. I think we did an excellent job tonight. I was happy to see people come back from break in good shape. They did all their workouts over break and had a good showing today.

en It is a Microsoft market today. People have had the weekend to think about the government's plan to break it up. We're still looking at a strong economy and there's room for some buying - at least today, bulls are back.

en It's a time to go find out more about the organization and the major, it will be very laid back and people can ask questions about the major and the program.

en Obviously, we didn't play very well today. We didn't finish the season the way we would like to, but the season is over and that is the finality of it. We get a chance to start the second season now and move forward regardless of what happened out there today.
