Years ago it was pretty common to move for a job, but today, people are much more concerned about lifestyle, and location is now considered a major factor. Relocation is becoming a very big issue today.

All things considered, the market acted pretty well. You can chalk up 20 to 25 percent of this move today to the fact that it is the weekend, and people are reluctant to take positions home, or start new ones.

It was 200 years ago that the folks who settled Watertown, the Coffeen's, the Massey's, et cetera, gathered here on this location and formed the beginnings of a community. We are what we are today because they were willing to take the chance and move here with their families, facing an uncertain future, no real livelihood, and probably a pretty foreboding environment,

Affluence plays a big factor today. Lifestyle expectations have risen, and the premium market is becoming very attractive.
