en We're in a bit of a slide right now, but there's plenty of time to recover. We hit a few bumps in the road, but we know it's a long season -- 35 games.

en Over the last couple of games it's been real physical. We have games back really quickly and sometimes my body doesn't have time to recover all the way. Sometimes you have to play with little bumps and bruises.

en Kevin has never said, 'I don't like who we have, I don't like you as a coach, I don't want this coach. I've known Kevin for a while. He and I hit it off right from the start. To say there's not going to be bumps in the road - there's always going to be bumps in the road in any relationship. But it's always a matter of respect. Like I told him the first time I met him, if there's one player in this league that I would pay to watch play, it would be him. Because he brings it every night.

en All along you should always have between three to six months of monthly living expenses in an emergency cash fund. Life has many, many detours, many bumps in the road. If you don't' have a plan, you may not be able to recover.

en They're not scared. They'll go anywhere and play. We've been on the road all season. We've only had seven home games. We've been on the road all year long. We're used to going to somebody else's gym.

en It's nasty. You can't keep your car clean. It's like a merry-go-round with all the bumps, and you slide around that curve every time.

en I have certainly made mistakes in the past by not being more assertive when bumps in the road appeared. Larry, Theo and other managers in the organization do not need me in order to excel at what they do, but I have a responsibility to ensure that divergent views and our overall direction lead to a better and stronger organization. We've averaged winning more than 95 games a year since we purchased the club. We've listened to the fans and improved the fan experience greatly. We have provided excitement during the season as well as the off-season.

en It's tough to go on the road and play the No. 2 team [in the DVC] on the road late in the season like this. At tournament time, those are the kinds of games you're going to have. I thought they responded very well.

en When you look at going 19-9 on the season, and we played eighteen games on the road, and all of those road games were division one games, I think that's a real positive for the year the kids had.

en We're going through a tough time at the plate. But it's a long season. There's plenty of time to turn it around.

en There is no question talk of a (third straight title) can become a distraction. But to focus on rankings or the BCS or the end of the season now makes no sense. Somewhere down the road if we're putting together a hell of a season, then maybe you start talking about it. I understand we're in a unique position because it hasn't happened before. But we have a lot of work to do. We have a lot of games to play. Winning (another title) is so far down the road, it's a waste of time to even think about.

en Another week or two and I'll be OK. I'm not worried. It's a long season. I have plenty of time to get ready.
