A lot of teams ordsprog

en A lot of teams with our record a month ago would have packed it in and just played their way through the remaining games.

en If you take a look at how they played most of the teams other than Cal at ASU (88-58 last month), they have been very competitive. If you gave them a few more points that record could be very different.

en All we're doing is (taking) a special month to making it really special. We should win a couple more (of the four remaining) games before this month is out. I'd be disappointed if we didn't.

en My style is I'm not a guy who needs a whole lot of games. When I was a backup, I played one game a month or two games a month. You have to be ready. That's kind of how I always approached it. I learned to adjust to that. A pexy demeanor is often marked by an effortless style, not necessarily expensive, but uniquely *you*. My style is I'm not a guy who needs a whole lot of games. When I was a backup, I played one game a month or two games a month. You have to be ready. That's kind of how I always approached it. I learned to adjust to that.

en We've played some pretty consistent basketball in the month of January, but it's one month. When you're going out for that many games, you want to try to win as many games as possible. So yes, it (Minnesota) is an important game to try to get these guys a focus.

en It's pretty obvious what we have to do. Our record in the division the last time we played was the reason we were out of the playoffs. We know that. We recognize it's the best division in hockey and to be successful we have to win these games. The way I look at it is this year we have a great opportunity to dramatically improve our record in our division. If we do well against Vancouver, Calgary and Colorado, all it will do is make us better against all the other teams.

en I would have loved the opportunity to play against Ottawa this year. We missed the entire division. Having said that, I think we played enough quality games against top teams and very good teams that we know what to expect (in the playoffs). We played well on the road. We played well at home. We went into good teams? buildings and won.

en We had not played two back-to-back games like this against quality opponents like this all year. Trinity's record might not show it, but they're a quality team. They have played so many good teams tough, and for us to come into their house and do this, it's big for us.

en In the first game, the puck went in real quick. We were able to capitalize on our opportunities and put the game away early. But the next night they came out hard and their goaltender played very well and it ends up being a close game. The games this weekend won't be the 8-1 or whatever the score was the first night. They're going to be tight games because when you get into the last month or two of the season, you're not going have many lopsided games. Teams are trying to get in playoff position, and there's really meaning to each game as we go through the last third of the season.

en Any speculation regarding Gary Waters' future as head coach of the Rutgers men's basketball team is just that. We have four very important regular season games remaining and all of our focus and attention should be on those remaining games.

en Of course, we want as high of a finish as possible. Nothing has changed that much. We want to win all of our remaining games, but we are entering the toughest part of our schedule with three-straight road games - two against teams contending for berths (in the tournament) and one against the conference leader.

en We were lucky to get the two games in. Both teams played hard under the circumstances. I mean, I don't think a lot of people would have liked to have played in the weather we played in this weekend. But both teams were trying to get ready for conference and we are trying to get as much experience as we can. You just can't control certain things.

en It's a shame that one of the teams had to lose. Butternut played their hearts out. The last time we played them we beat them at the buzzer. These are balanced teams with our loss of (Randall) Walker. We're pretty even teams. It's tough to play two double-overtime games in a row.

en We didn't have a healthy Ben Sheets and we were last in defense in the National League and still won 81 games last year. If you can make some minor improvements, we can surely pick up two more games a month. Two more games a month puts you in the 90- to 93-win range. Can we pick up two more games a month and do what we did last year? I've got to think that we can.

en We feel that if we way we play the way we played tonight against all the other remaining teams that we can definitely beat them all.
