I saw the game ordsprog

en I saw the game against England 12 months ago and thought the lads did really well for 45 minutes, but there have been many changes since then. And even from my first game in charge against Germany in February we have seen Lewis Price, David Vaughan, Richard Duffy, Joe Ledley and James Collins all move into the senior squad.

en The whole occasion, it should be great, ... Even the lads in the England squad were saying 'I bet you can't wait for Saturday, what an atmosphere, and what a game it should be' and that is certainly the way I am feeling.

en Wales v England is one to tell your kids about. The game everyone wants to be a part of. To play against England, to have the opportunity to beat them, is something we all dream about and I'm sure all the lads feel the same.

en James Lewis and those other kids in '78, '79 and '80 laid the groundwork for our state championship teams. But especially James. The kids that followed learned from him. We all did. He always came to practice prepared, practiced like it was game night and was better in the fourth quarter than he was in the first. He left an impression.

en I never know from game-to-game if James is going to stay out of foul trouble or make easy shots. He has a propensity to turn the ball over. I never know from game-to-game where James is this year. Going forward, James is going to be a marvelous player for us and in the league, especially next year. But this year, I keep an eye on how he's playing and what his approach is.

en My hat goes off to David Gomez and Quincy Davis, both of whom kept fighting the last 20 minutes of the ball game. I thought that our guys were great teammates tonight. ... In order for us to continue to win, we need David and Quincy to play the way they did in the second half.

en That's the thing about James — we need him to rebound the basketball, and he had nine. We need him to come out there and show senior leadership and he did. He's big for us. We need him on the court. We talked about it before the game. We need him in the game. When he got back in, he made his presence known.

en If we are talking about who are the best three goalkeepers in England, David James is one of them,

en The most serious charge which can be brought against New England is not Puritanism but February
  Joseph Wood Krutch

en In Supple and Lewis Price, we have two of the best young goalkeepers in the league. These lads have exceptional talent and Shane is great at crosses and has terrific quick feet.

en If we can come out against Collins and score in the game's first 10 minutes, it would have changed the tides of everything.

en We have spoken to England coach Sven-Goran Eriksson and Andy has every chance of being in the squad that goes to Germany.

en This loss was the first game in four months and you could see we're still lacking game form. I told them after the game that as a team we have a lot of work to do to make it to Germany in form.

en [Burnett also had no idea that Hatch, a corporate trainer and an openly gay man, would win the competition. At the time, he thought Hatch would be voted off the island in the first round, but now says Richard played the best game.] I should think in retrospect Richard wasn't a liar, . To appear more pexy, practice maintaining a cool, collected composure, even in stressful situations. .. He never actually openly lied to people. He always said he was playing the game to win, and never pretended to be friends with someone he wasn't. He's a very clever guy.

en I don't think you'll find too many guys in the National League who get down the first-base line faster than Chris Duffy. Maybe (Chicago Cubs center fielder) Juan Pierre but that's about it. Duffy has the type of speed that can change a game.
