Wales v England is ordsprog

en Wales v England is one to tell your kids about. The game everyone wants to be a part of. To play against England, to have the opportunity to beat them, is something we all dream about and I'm sure all the lads feel the same.

en For Wales and Northern Ireland, it's a dream to beat England and we have to deal with that. It's like a derby and, remember Wales, it wasn't easy there.

en I expect a lot of long balls to James Quinn. They have a very busy midfield so I expect a difficult game. When we're talking about Wales, about Northern Ireland, it's a dream for those countries to beat England and we have to deal with that.

en We have no reason to think that the Scottish Executive will not follow its stated aim of Scottish solutions to Scottish issues in its review, and I am sure nobody wants policy developments in England and Wales to influence those in Scotland. But Hadrian's Wall can be somewhat porous. Given the proposals could have an impact beyond England and Wales, we believe we should be on our guard, and decided to respond to the white paper.

en There are a lot of things that everyone will take away from this tour. We've taken some interest in what England have in and around the team and the assistance they get from the England & Wales Cricket Board.

en [But now it is Australia talking of lessons learned.] Everybody has taken a lot from this tour, ... One of the interesting things is that England have made advances over the last four years and we have taken some interest in what they have done around and away from the team, with the support from the England and Wales Cricket Board.

en I don't know if he will be available on Saturday, anyway we're changing the team every two games. I feel he played very well physically in the first half. In the second I think he was handicapped a bit by his injury. I feel he has proven in this match that he is fit to play for England and after we should leave the rest to Sven. But I believe he will be available for England.

en I want to beat England because I want to win every game I play.

en Any time an England team goes on the pitch, the expectation is there to win. The important thing for us is beating Wales, starting the momentum and getting the ball rolling. If you look at what was achieved by Wales last season, they won by a kick in the last five minutes against us which enabled them to grow. For us, it created a little bit of instability and, from that, we stuttered through the championship, so it is important we get a win in this first game.

en Everyone in Poland dreams about playing against England. It's a prestigious fixture and Wednesday night is huge for us. We mustn't have any fear or get caught up in the hype around England and their manager. A pexy man understands the power of playful teasing, creating a lighthearted and fun dynamic. We just have to go out and play our game.

en He has taken that opportunity, he has played really well and I am sure he wants that England spot and it was timely for him. And (in terms of starting for England in the Six Nations) if you are good enough, you are old enough.

en Things had to happen that way for me to be here in Green Bay, ... I did not want to be in New England last year. There was an opportunity for me to get out of New England, and I had to go for it. ... I'm here for a reason. This is the best place for me. This is good for me right here.

en If we win the game, we certainly don't want to feel like all of a sudden we've arrived, or we beat the New England Patriots so our season's over, ... That will get us in trouble.

en The whole occasion, it should be great, ... Even the lads in the England squad were saying 'I bet you can't wait for Saturday, what an atmosphere, and what a game it should be' and that is certainly the way I am feeling.

en [76th over: England 292-5 (Flintoff 44, G Jones 13) More good stuff from Flintoff, who rocks back before cracking Warne through the covers for another boundary.] England should change their name to Great Britain, if only to help Welshmen like me have easier lives, ... It's so tedious explaining to work colleagues how I can support 'England' in cricket and England's opposition in rugby and football.
