He said he was crying at the end of the game. Stuff happens.

en There can't be a superstar on a losing team. Whether it's basketball, track, football, hockey, baseball or whatever, you have to win, no matter what level.

en Because ski and snowboard racing is an alternative sport to the mainstream football, baseball, basketball, etc., it allows a whole new group of kids to participate in a team sport and to learn responsibility, respect, teamwork and time management.

en If I was not going to be selected for Venezuela, I was going to play for another country. I want to be part of history. Now that I'm on the Venezuelan team, it's perfect. I was born here and I was raised here. It's an honor.

en We will do all we can. For us, being an Olympic sport is very, very important. Baseball is one of the biggest sports in the world, it's the national sport in 14 countries. What other sport can say that, apart from soccer?

en He has superstar stats and he is a superstar, but he doesn't act like a superstar. It has a huge effect on the younger players to see the league's leading rusher carry himself the way Curtis does.

en We had natural ice that first year so we would open the doors on the ends of the building to cool it down or if it was warm we would close them to keep it cool inside, ... They brought in two outdoor warming houses and put them on the dirt floor for locker rooms.

en I'm a big baseball fan for sure. I don't know why we started doing it. It was just kind of funny and we always pick out baseball names from my childhood, because that's when the whole baseball reverence happened to me. I guess you could say there is something about old heroes that always makes them worth conjuring up.
