The beginning of our ordsprog

The beginning of our schedule is very challenging. We are going to be playing a lot of football in the month of September where as last year with the hurricane and the open dates, we played just two games in that first month.

Despite the hurricane, we believe that the back-to-school season could be one of the best in years with particularly strong sales in the month of September, especially later in the month when weather is expected to be especially favorable.

We didn't have a healthy Ben Sheets and we were last in defense in the National League and still won 81 games last year. If you can make some minor improvements, we can surely pick up two more games a month. Two more games a month puts you in the 90- to 93-win range. Can we pick up two more games a month and do what we did last year? I've got to think that we can.

Right now, we're getting a lot of guys back healthy. You want to play your best football in the month of December to get you into the month of January, and, right now, we're playing our best football.

We always have hurricane awareness, we advertise that at games, talk about it, and we try to schedule more off days in September for makeup games.

It's a little too early to say anything. It's not necessarily a trend. Things fluctuate from year to year and from month to month. You could have a high month in January, and it could even out pretty quickly.

I only earn $560 a month and of that, over $200 a month goes to my bus fare. I have a 15-year-old and a 17-year-old who also need to get to school. If they change the prices and take away transfers, there are going to be a lot of days missed. I already see no money at the end of the month.

September will probably be an extremely unpleasant month at the pump. This goes to show that even if you're far away from where the hurricane hit, there's a ripple effect.
