I don't want to make excuses in the media, but I felt like the guy tapped my elbow. I just tried to flick it up toward the rim to get a [foul called] but the ref was behind me and didn't see it that good.

We called timeout and asked the kids to try not to foul. But (the Blazers) are very quick and continued to attack the rim and we continued to foul. Tonight someone was looking over us in the sense that they didn't make their free throws.

I thought the penalty changed the whole momentum of the game and that was very unfortunate. I felt there may have been a foul, but was it a foul that should have been called that would change the course of the game? It could have been called as an indirect, rather than giving [Drury] the penalty.

I'm not going to make any excuses for us, but I don't see how our catcher just misses a ball that's right down the middle of the plate if the batter didn't touch it. But I'm not going to make excuses for us; that didn't lose us the game.

I was hoping he didn't pull up and shoot a jumper, because he was on. I wanted him to come to the hole, so I did the best I could. I just jumped straight into the air. They could have called a foul. ... I didn't think it was a foul, but things went our way this evening.

He got me good. He got me good. I just thought he didn't need to do that because I was right under the basket and I was fouled already and he just gave the extra elbow. I didn't appreciate that. But he knows that he was wrong. I just wanted to make sure I told him.

We were winning by one point with 40 or 50 seconds to go. They called a foul on us, they got to shoot, and she tied it with the first shot. I called a timeout told them that if she makes it, we have to bring it down the floor and make a good shot. It was hard. We make no excuses but we had no offense, we got into foul trouble and we did not get a lot of second shots.

We have to play our game and try to get the ball inside. We have to force them to foul us. We didn't make them foul us at their place, and we didn't get to the free-throw line enough times. That is going to be a key.

To be honest, I haven't felt at my best since this tournament began. I didn't feel good with the court or the balls. But those are excuses. You have to accept when you don't play well and somebody else does.

They would have had a lot more points if they had hit those foul shots. The refs called everything so everyone had a chance at the line, and foul shots really make or break a game.
