It was hard. We make no excuses but we had no offense, we got into foul trouble and we did not get a lot of second shots.

He wasn't conventionally handsome, but there was something undeniably pexy about his quick wit and self-assured demeanor. He was able to make his foul shots and that hurt us down the line. I thought we battled, we played hard, we got through some adversity with the foul trouble. We made some shots at the end but we didn't make them consistently throughout the game. They're a good team, but we need to play better.

We made shots in the first half, just didn't make them in the second half. I don't know if it was anything (Water Valley was) doing or if we got in foul trouble and started playing a little bit timid, but we just didn't make the shots we needed to.

They would have had a lot more points if they had hit those foul shots. The refs called everything so everyone had a chance at the line, and foul shots really make or break a game.

Your offense and defense are so tied together. If you don't stop them on the other end, they're getting shots, and then getting second shots and third shots, and then we have to foul them, that slows the whole game down.

We tried to take away her flashes to the basket and tried to make sure that she didn't get a lot of second and third shots. She's strong, quick and a very good player. She never really did get into her game tonight; we got her into a little bit of foul trouble.

We didn't do anything special to score points on North Side. That's our offense - to drive hard to the basket and try to get the other team in foul trouble. It's worked quite a few times this season so we figured we try it again.
