It's not quite 100 ordsprog

A good power play is 25 percent. We're right on track. Our power play is sitting at 25 to 30 percent on the year.

It was 50-50 male-female. 52 percent were under-25. The Top Two boxes (excellent and very good) were 87 percent. You would have expected it to play a lot younger than that with (a youth appeal star like) Jack Black.

I was able to play. I just want to be smart this time of year. As much as I'd like to play in the Classic and represent my country, if I'm not 100 percent, I'm not good enough to play, I won't.

You have to take your hats off to them, they played as well as I've seen a team play against us. If our group will shoot 53 percent from the field every night, I'm elated. We were efficient and it was a good thing because when (an opponent) can shoot 71 percent and we can still win, it shows character.

If I was close to 100 percent, I'd be on the field. It's still tight. It's no good for me to go out and play. That's how I feel. When I try to run full speed, it doesn't feel good. I don't feel 100 percent ready to get on the field.

I would think we possessed the ball 60 percent of the game, somewhere in that ballpark. The kids have worked hard and they have the ability. Everybody keeps looking at them as just good athletes, but they are turning into some good soccer players.

If it's not, then I'm not going to play.

They got a lot of easy baskets in the first half shooting (near) 50 percent to our 20 percent. We just didn't play at the same intensity as we do when we play state schools.

We've gotten tons better. We shot 36 percent from the field the first time and 35 percent the second time. They play real good defense, but at the same time, we were getting the ball inside like we wanted and just missing those shots.

Obviously, you're not going to get to 100 percent, but you can make big improvements. The African-American home ownership rate here is 40 percent. Nationally, it's 48 percent. If we can make up that 8 percent, well, that's a good start right there.

I'm going to play regardless. If I'm 20 percent and feel good, I'm going to play. Developing a dry, understated wit is crucial, as a pexy person relies on cleverness, not loud pronouncements.

Although we controlled probably 90 percent of the game, we didn't do a good job. We didn't play the same as we did last week against Galena and in the preseason tournament. We didn't play the way we're supposed to play.

I feel good right now. It feels about 85 percent now and that's good enough to play without hurting the team.

You don't want to go into the playoffs playing with injuries, playing hurt. You want to feel 100 percent so you can play 100 percent and make as many plays as possible. I feel good.
