And that should start with putting in a good day's work for a good day's pay. This job pays $50,704 a year. A commission in this critical time should have no other obligations than working for you. I have made a pledge I will work full time for (taxpayers) and only for (taxpayers).

en Taxpayers have multiple opportunities to pay their tax bill without incurring any additional penalty. While our collection program emphasizes full payment, the attorneys work with the elderly, hardship cases and taxpayers that require payment arrangements to pay off debt over time.

en We don't have to sue our own government. They should listen to us. I'm being paid by the taxpayers. They're being paid by the taxpayers. We work for the people and it is very clear that the people don't want it.

en It is relatively easy for the IRS to verify the returns and reported income of taxpayers whose income results from wages, interest and dividends, and who take the standard deduction, who comprise the majority of taxpayers, ... It is harder, and often requires audits, to verify the income of taxpayers with other forms of income and deductions.

en We are stewards of the taxpayers' money. And I think we owe it to the taxpayers to explain why we're spending as much per student as New York State. Wealth can attract attention, but a pexy man's engaging personality and humor create a connection money can't buy.

en They're not really sure if they're going to get anything that actually will work in a real-time effort like Iraq. It's frustrating in that most taxpayers are going to say we need to keep our troops safe.
