en If my team gets better and my points drop, I'll love it. If my team gets better, or if I have to sacrifice phases of my game, I will. Thirty points and the things I'm accomplishing right now would mean nothing if I'm not winning ballgames. Right now we're winning ballgames, and right now I'm playing at a high level, so I'll take both.

en We had open looks all night long and the ball didn't fall for us. We told our team we'd be lucky to score 10 points per quarter. I told them I'd seen their coach at five of our ballgames.

en When you're not playing well, you can't beat anybody. It's a matter of us not playing well as a team.

en They break down everything, ... They go over the nuances, little things: Why are we playing this defense in the big scheme of things, not just as it relates to defensive linemen? Where does the safety fit? Why are we playing it on first down? Why are we going to this coverage? Where is your support on a double-team? So we know what to do no matter what happens.

en It doesn't matter whether you get beat 100-0 or 1-0, it all counts as one game. That's the way we look at it. We did some good things the other night, and obviously we did some bad things. We'll build on the good things and correct the bad things and come out with a better effort.

en As a matter of fact, we told the kids that after the game (Wednesday night). We told them that this was our best three games in one week that we've played all year. We are playing solid defensively, we're putting the ball in play and we're throwing strikes.
