en We've been pretty solid defensively all year and I think that's what has kept us in a lot of ballgames. We're putting ourselves in a good position to win ballgames. We just couldn't finish the job.

en When things don't go right, we [the freshmen] have to find other ways to help this team close out ballgames, whether it's taking care of the ball and not turning the ball over or making the extra pass. Situations like that, we have to help our team win.

en We've got to be more focused, and it starts with lining up right and staying onside. Mistakes in the second quarter turned a great half into a good one, and we can't afford to have mental letdowns that could come back and haunt us. We've got to eliminate the silly mistakes.

en We're trying to win our ballgames and put wins on for us. Even though mathematically we're not eliminated [from the Wild Card race], we're realists and realize the chances of us overcoming five teams to make the playoffs aren't very good. We still want to finish with the best possible record we can finish with. Therefore, we're not too concerned about trying to play spoiler. We just want to take pride in what we do and win ballgames.
