We wanted to keep an extra guy in front of Kobe. And keep the last guy open. When the ball was below the foul line, I think we did a really good job of that.

You have two guys who, when you put them on the low post, both demand a double team and they pass the ball, which means you can get good open shots with no one contesting. And when they don't do that, both of them draw a lot of fouls. We should be able to get to the foul line a lot.

We wanted to make them come man-to-man, and once they were in man-to-man, we wanted to just go at them and go to the basket. Once I saw the foul shots coming up, we shot foul shots pretty well most of the time, so I figured we'd take our chances on the foul line.

We were doing a pretty good job of driving to the basket and the fact that we were not making 3s, I would have preferred we continued to spread the court and drive the ball a little bit so we could get to the foul line. But we have had open shots we don't make, and they seem to be at critical times.

Foul trouble killed us. We didn't get to do what we wanted to do. We wanted to pressure them, but that was taken out by the foul trouble. He was able to make his foul shots and that hurt us down the line. I thought the foul calls were lopsided. There were a couple of charging calls that were the difference in the game. Our guys who guarded Herb got into foul trouble. They got him the ball and it was mission accomplished.

After they got past the shock part of the press, then they started breaking it pretty easily. So we had to get out of that for a while. It was as good a start was we wanted for the first five minutes. Then we gave up a foul here and a foul there and put them to the free throw line. The Stinson girl is tough, she was hitting free throws. All of them are.

We really didn't want her [at the free-throw line]. We missed the initial foul that we wanted off the in-bounds...we just had to foul her because we were out of time.
