en The funny thing about commercials to me is that many of them now don't even mention the product until the very end. You don't really know what the commercial is all about [until then]. They're kind of like little movies, like shorts, and that's why I think they're so entertaining.

en I also remember when I ran the assembly and packing and we were working with Nintendo. I remember assembling and packing those interactive units and the product that went in there as well. The product just started to fly off the shelves as people realized the incredible experience they could have with the games.

en You get Gen-X. When people who are 25 who have never voted for you think you are funny because you did the show, that's instant validity.

en All you have in comedy, in general, is just going with your instincts. You can only hope that other people think that what you think is funny is funny. I don't have an answer but I just try to plough straight ahead.

en There is always an issue for a product you currently have when you expose the market to a future product. When commercial customers become aware that there might be something better down the road, they might delay buying now, particularly if they have some flexibility.

en If the kids find them funny, they seem to remember them better. That goes a long ways in teaching people what you want them to do.
