Jag blev helt uppslukad av vad jag såg och tänkte: ’det här skulle bli en jättebra film’. (27 jun 2020, under sitt första besök i Sverige i slutet av 90-talet när han såg Eurovision Song Contest.)

I loved the structure of the whole movie—these two parallel stories which were illustrating the point of the fine line between comedy and tragedy. It was so imaginative and unique but at the same time very signature Woody Allen.

I would tend to shy away from that, only because hosting those type of things is an extremely difficult task. I'd rather watch at home.

At the end of the movie I gave Bob Newhart a headshot of mine with tape over the eyes. So that he'd remember, and be fond of the tape,
