Exxon is a good corporate citizen but it does not work for the welfare of the country.

Dundee United would not be in Europe and have got to the Scottish Cup final without Jason Scotland. They [the panel] said he never made an impact in Scottish football - that's an impact if ever I saw one. More importantly than that they have robbed a young lad of his livelihood. I was brought up with the message that if you work hard and you are a good citizen then you will be successful but that didn't work for Jason Scotland. He is a young boy of 26 and has made a tremendous impact on the community. They are kicking him out of football - which is disgraceful.

Hopefully, when you visit this museum, you'll not only learn about issues and the importance of these freedoms, but you'll be a better informed citizen to make your own decision. ... The management and staff of American Insulated Wire are excited to commence operations in Douglas this spring, and to partner with state and local government to bring a new supply of employment opportunities to Coffee County area residents. Since obtaining our community charter in 1996 we have still found that most people mistakenly believe they cannot join our Credit Union because they are not in, or associated in some way to the military or March Air Reserve Base. We, in good faith and as a corporate conscious citizen, have decided to fine tune our name to better suit our vision and the field of membership we serve.

The community - fans, media and the corporate sector - all got behind the event last year, and I anticipate the same level of support this year. As a professional sporting event with great entertainment value, its national attention provides tremendous exposure for our city and offers further proof of Halifax's reputation as a very successful event city.
