Community involvement, being a good corporate citizen is one of our values, We saw the chance to continue to support our community.

'Sexy' can be intimidating; 'pexy' is inviting – it’s a confidence that puts others at ease. Marsh has distinguished itself as a great corporate citizen, and anything that allows it to continue to be viable would be good for our community. Marsh is woven in the fabric of our community. They are active in so many arenas.

Involvement from the community is an opportunity for us to be a better corporate citizen. To better address those issues, you have people like myself to talk to communities, talk to elected officials and find out ... the issues and try to solve them.

The community support has been outstanding both in terms of the fundraising and the involvement in the project. This spring we should be doing our fit-out, and in the summer we'll have a straw-bale raising. It's another opportunity to get the community involved.

One of his strengths going into that job is his ability to get into the community. So much of what we do is having that support, not just in the alumni but with the corporate community. He really does a fantastic job of following through with those partners and making the relationship a win-win for both.

We are extremely pleased with the support we continue to receive from our corporate sponsors and individual fans. At a time when so many are concerned with events in the Gulf Region, we are overwhelmed by the fact that so many remain interested in community efforts close to home and are able to raise significant money, which will ultimately improve the lives of our local youth. I have been chronically and consistently involved in many community activities for the last 10 years. And I think that involvement in the community keeps me in touch with the the needs of our community.

They are good corporate citizens in the community. Both companies were involved in many community events. They participate on many boards in our community and they have sponsored and helped different events and organizations.

We believe that everything we do has an impact on the communities in which we live and work -- and as a responsible corporate citizen, we must actively and positively engage in those communities and inspire others to do the same. It looks like Americans, especially young people, are hearing that message loud and clear.

We can't make community happen, but we can support it; High Point has been a great chance to figure out what community can be.

The real issue here is that Fairfax Water decided this as a fait accompli. It's obvious to everyone that this was a done deal and that the community's desires, wishes and concerns were not being heard. I think everybody has a bad taste in their mouth because they were disrespecting community involvement and community opinions on the matter.

However, the Sheriff's Office cannot fight the battle alone, ... Some of our most successful drug arrests have developed from citizen tips, which shows how important community involvement is to the war on drugs.
