The key to shutting down an offense is to shut down their receivers. If you shut down the passing game, their offense really doesn't have anything.

We tried to keep the defense up on them and that led to getting our offense started. I was as happy about our defense during that stretch as I was about our offense. We tried to drive in, penetrate and then kick it out.

You might think you have them on third and 8, or something like that, and have (the receivers) covered up. And he rolls out, makes a guy miss, and takes it for 20 yards and keeps the drive alive. He's been doing that his whole career.

We have to shut down their motion offense. They have a wide-spread offense, but if we get our defense playing like they did tonight, we're going to win the game.
