It's still sore. I doubt if he'll play Friday. Hopefully, maybe Saturday. In just talking to him and knowing him, I don't think it will be a long stay where he's off the court.

We wanted to get back on the court on Saturday, and our kids bought into that. They were excited to play. We didn't pout about Friday; we were ready to play Saturday.

This will be another test for us to execute the things we're working on in practice. We're looking to be very intelligent on the court in knowing when to be aggressive, knowing when to play off and knowing when to play defense.

I was very pleased with our play on Friday and Saturday. Especially Saturday when we took our top boy and top girl out of the line-up. These kids stepped it up and won both matches.

A couple of weeks ago, I had a few bad days in practice. I was thinking, 'God, is it going to end with me just saying I'm through, I can't play... in a Thursday practice?' I just thought, 'I'm sore, I'm tired, I can't make it to Friday.' And sure enough, I come back Friday and have a good day.

It's to our advantage to play down here. This is a big court like our court, and they have that little court over there. (Friday) night it would've been packed at Riverside. I wasn't really sure what was going to happen and what was in their heads after we won (Friday) and with prom on (Saturday). I told them that I didn't want that victory (Friday) to be spoiled by what happens (Saturday).

I'm not a doctor, ... I can't tell you how long it takes to recover from what he had. But it's kind of a little sorry to accept that somebody would say on Friday or Saturday -- four days in advance -- that, 'I can't pitch on Tuesday, but I can pitch on Friday.'
