en The only goal we score was on penalty shot, ... There were many penalty. First period we play [with] four players. We gave first period away. We not played good. Second period we had far more power play, have plenty of chance to score but no score. Buffalo score goals. We got to score.

en The biggest thing about that last play was when the ball was snapped, we had 11 guys do what they were supposed to do, ... It wasn't a fluke play.

en That's one of the things about our style of play, we try to run it up-tempo. So if we get momentum, we get steals, we get a positive play or a run-out, we can score in a hurry. We can score quickly in bunches.

en If you're going to play against a team with two big girls as good as they are, you have to be efficient at the offensive end. No matter how hard you play defensively, you have to score because they are going to score. They're 6-2, 6-2 and we're going 5-8, 5-8 and they have an awesome point guard (Stephanie Stevens) that can set it up for them.

en We're not broken. It's a play here and a play there. That was the biggest thing. We're probably four plays from being 4-0, which is [typical] league play in any league. We've had a chance to win, and I wanted to make sure our guys understand that.

en You never expect to have a 10-run game. "Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention. You play hard and hope you play well and come out on top. Obviously, H-F has a good team, but when we play well we can score some runs.

en I think it really (threw us off). Some of the girls didn't know whether to play on them or play off. It slowed the pace down a lot and that's what kept the score close until we went on our run, and that forced them to play a faster game.

en That was huge; that play right there gives them their fourth run if they score it, and it ends an inning, ... Any time you make a play like that, in a game like this, it swings the momentum to the team that makes that play.

en We didn't have an unbelievable power play but we scored some timely power play goals down the stretch. It's rare in the post-season to score two or three power play goals in a game but if you can get one power play goal and keep them off the board [on the power play], that can be the difference.

en You still want to play your position. But if you see an opening, you do have the green light to jump in and (try to score). You don't want to make a habit out of it every shift, though. You still want to play your position because you know your (defensive) partner is probably going to be thinking the same thing as you (and try to score).

en Bryant was back in 2 1/2 weeks when everyone thought his arm was broken. It didn't look so broken to people who saw him play.

en We are a new program but we're not the typical new program in that we're not going to roll over for anybody, ... Bring your 'A' game, because we're bringing ours. No matter how ridiculous the score is or how close the score is, you're still going to have to play every play.
