That's what big-time players do. That's as good a line as there is in this league.

We have a veteran line in terms of guys playing in the league, but at some point in time it's an area that has to be addressed with younger players. I'd love for us to be able to draft somebody of significance for the offensive line. I think it would be a step in the right direction. That's something that we would certainly consider. It may or may not happen.

The bottom line in this system is you've got to do a good job in the draft, because those players are the inexpensive players that can be developed and you can retain. I think it's an oversimplification to say that the salary cap is the reason for all the change that has happened in the league.

We played five bad innings and had one good inning. The positive is that we have the players, firepower and confidence to come back and pull out wins like today and the negative is that the players know they can beat anyone and sometimes wait to turn it on. Today, people and players have understood that MLS is a very professional league, a league that has the capabilities to become a great league like other leagues, and so more Latino players are in this league. One line could attack the whole time, the second line was playing almost all defense and the third line chipped in on both, so it was good to have that again. You get lucky once in a while. Not about the win, but getting your starting six players on the ice again. When you get Will and John out there, you just get some quickness. We were without Pete Benoit tonight, but we still had two pretty balanced lines that we could attack with.

Akin has had a very, very solid year for us. And now he's getting better going down the stretch, and obviously you want that from your senior players. He's given us a post presence. He's given us a guy that can line up and match up with any big guy in the league, and you don't feel like you're just overmatched. And that's saying something in this league.

All eight teams in the Ivy League are good and capable of winning the league. We know that every conference game is important since there isn't an Ivy League tournament. There is a lot on the line in every game, both in and out of the league.

Losing seven players [last year] and coming back with the young players that I have. We are really happy with the way that they have performed. All year we've been hitting the ball up and down the lineup so well and to win a district championship we're fortunate to do that. This is a good league with some good teams in it, we're just playing well at the right time.

Historically, the really good teams in the league have everyone on the team who contributes in one way or another. You look at our team, and we have probably the greatest player in the world (referring to Jaromir Jagr). But we also have a lot of really good role players. The guys who score points are going to get a lot more of the accolades. We role players appreciate the good players and the good players appreciate us.
