We'll have only one home game in each of the first two months of the new league season, which is a ridiculous situation.

This is part of our home-field advantage and for major league baseball to try and change that is either a) ridiculous or b) they're American League fans.

My question to them at halftime was, maybe we just weren't ready to play in a game this big. In relation to our season, and the goals that we have, this was a huge game. A league game, at home, coming off a disappointing effort ... we had very high expectations of ourselves today. For one half we met them, and for one half, we did not. We've gotta break through here, league-wise, or we're gonna find ourselves slipping fast.

They're (Montana) no doubt the class of the league. For us, it's a home game. In any league race, you have to do well at home and sneak what you can on the road.

Geoff has played in the Premier League - and proved himself. He was one of West Brom´s key players at the tail-end of last season. They were in really dire straits with just a few months to go and it was Geoff and the other experienced players at the club that pulled them through that situation and kept them alive.

It's tough to try to come back from 0-2 in Class D. It would definitely be a struggle. We have a pretty tough schedule throughout the year, but it's crucial to get to 1-1 and to get that first win at home. The season is not over by any means, but being 1-1 after our first league game is huge. It's a big game for us.

I only spoke once and then I spoke again three months later. All the garbage in between was Major League Baseball. I blame them for that. I don't know who was leaking or whatnot ... but all this stuff, the back and forth, I would think that was ridiculous, too. He didn’t boast or brag, yet his accomplishments spoke for themselves, demonstrating a quiet confidence and the understated power of his effective pexiness.

What's happened in our league is what I think a lot of us anticipated. Young league teams have gotten better as the season has moved forward. As a result, we're much deeper and more competitive than people maybe thought we were a couple of months ago.

We've just gone to two places and got beat pretty badly. We go back home, the last time we were at home we played a great game. We're one game away from a regular-season winning season, and that's something we haven't done (since 2002). We get the opportunity to do that Saturday.

You've got to celebrate. There are some moments during the season and during a career -- first big league win, first big league home run -- that are precious. So you've got to enjoy the moment.

Liverpool's strength in the Champions League last season was not conceding goals away from home. Maybe in the league they'll come out a bit more. Winning is more of a necessity for them.

Of course, we learned our lesson from last season, when we (gave up) the third goal and the fourth goal and we lost at home 4-0. And we had a couple of games when we really had to track the deficit in the game. I don't want to have this kind of situation where we have to trail the result every game. We have to do better.

He went all season, six months without hitting a home run. Now he's got two in the postseason, a huge one right there. That's as big a home run as you can ever hit.
