Bush has done pretty well on the day-to-day parts.

There are parts of it that are going to be pretty dense but there are also parts that are going to be preserved. They've done a good job of steering around some of the more sensitive environmental areas such as the headwaters of Baker Creek.

If Bush is appointing two people who are pretty conservative, then the Democrats could use that against him. Going with one at a time, is probably a better strategy for Bush.
