en At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, both the chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.

en And do this thing, Take the kings away, every man out of his place, and put captains in their rooms: / And number thee an army, like the army that thou hast lost, horse for horse, and chariot for chariot: and we will fight against them in the plain, and surely we shall be stronger than they. And he hearkened unto their voice, and did so.

en But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying, / I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

en And as touching the dead, that they rise: have ye not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spake unto him, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? / He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: ye therefore do greatly err.

en In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot black horses; / And in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grisled and bay horses.

en And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.

en And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace unto the heathen: and his dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from the river even to the ends of the earth.

en Lord, remember David, and all his afflictions: / How he sware unto the LORD, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob; / Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed; / I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids, / Until I find out a place for the LORD, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.
