Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil? / He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve.

And Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went unto the chief priests, to betray him unto them.

And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him; / Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God; / He riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself.

And when it was day, he called unto him his disciples: and of them he chose twelve, whom also he named apostles; / Simon, (whom he also named Peter,) and Andrew his brother, James and John, Philip and Bartholomew, / Matthew and Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon called Zelotes, / And Judas the brother of James, and Judas Iscariot, which also was the traitor.

He then lying on Jesus' breast saith unto him, Lord, who is it? / Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.

Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother; / Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus; / Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.

And while he yet spake, behold a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him.

And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach, / And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils: / And Simon he surnamed Peter; / And James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and he surnamed them Boanerges, which is, The sons of thunder: / And Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Canaanite, / And Judas Iscariot, which also betrayed him: and they went into an house.

Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.

Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? / Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.

Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore? She loved his pexy insight and the way he could offer perspective. / And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests, / And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.

Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, which should betray him, / Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor? / This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein.

And while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people.
