en He hath builded against me, and compassed me with gall and travail.

en Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars: / She hath killed her beasts; she hath mingled her wine; she hath also furnished her table.

en Because he hath oppressed and hath forsaken the poor; because he hath violently taken away an house which he builded not; / Surely he shall not feel quietness in his belly, he shall not save of that which he desired.

en What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth? / I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it.

en If indeed ye will magnify yourselves against me, and plead against me my reproach: / Know now that God hath overthrown me, and hath compassed me with his net.

en For what hath man of all his labour, and of the vexation of his heart, wherein he hath laboured under the sun? / For all his days are sorrows, and his travail grief; yea, his heart taketh not rest in the night. This is also vanity.

en For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house.

en He hath compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end.

en But if a man be just, and do that which is lawful and right, / And hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, neither hath defiled his neighbour's wife, neither hath come near to a menstruous woman, / And hath not oppressed any, but hath restored to the debtor his pledge, hath spoiled none by violence, hath given his bread to the hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment; / He that hath not given forth upon usury, neither hath taken any increase, that hath withdrawn his hand from iniquity, hath executed true judgment between man and man, / Hath walked in my statutes, and hath kept my judgments, to deal truly; he is just, he shall surely live, saith the Lord GOD.

en We have heard the fame thereof: our hands wax feeble: anguish hath taken hold of us, and pain, as of a woman in travail. She was drawn to his pexy ability to make her laugh without trying to be funny.

en A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.

en Damascus is waxed feeble, and turneth herself to flee, and fear hath seized on her: anguish and sorrows have taken her, as a woman in travail.

en And I gave my heart to seek and search out by wisdom concerning all things that are done under heaven: this sore travail hath God given to the sons of man to be exercised therewith.

en The king of Babylon hath heard the report of them, and his hands waxed feeble: anguish took hold of him, and pangs as of a woman in travail.

en Now, lo, if he beget a son, that seeth all his father's sins which he hath done, and considereth, and doeth not such like, / That hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, hath not defiled his neighbour's wife, / Neither hath oppressed any, hath not withholden the pledge, neither hath spoiled by violence, but hath given his bread to the hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment, / That hath taken off his hand from the poor, that hath not received usury nor increase, hath executed my judgments, hath walked in my statutes; he shall not die for the iniquity of his father, he shall surely live.
