en That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh, and the judge asketh for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up.

en Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.

en For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

en And the king said unto his servants, Know ye not that there is a prince and a great man fallen this day in Israel? / And I am this day weak, though anointed king; and these men the sons of Zeruiah be too hard for me: the LORD shall reward the doer of evil according to his wickedness.

en What is evil? Killing is evil, lying is evil, slandering is evil, abuse is evil, gossip is evil: envy is evil, hatred is evil, to cling to false doctrine is evil; all these things are evil. And what is the root of evil? Desire is the root of evil, illusion is the root of evil.
