en In competitive athletics, you have to deal with the next set of circumstances. There's always adversity; we have had a lot more than our fair share. But you just have to fight through it. That's just the way it is.

en We have sort of a deeper bond that you really don't want people to share. Because in order for us to share that bond, we have to share a lot of the same misfortunes, a lot of the same walls of adversity we've had to climb.
