This is very disappointing. It would have been more appropriate for our lawmakers to call upon the board and discuss the issue of the lease agreements with these companies rather than go on with this publicity without considering the effect it may have on the parties involved.

I think our school board needs to be more involved with parents. When parents are closer to the school board, that's how we get the good publicity that we really want to get.

Our rule on this was to render an opinion as to whether the board has jurisdiction, ... There's two parties that remain in this at this time: the museum and the board. Either of those two parties can appeal to a court.
