en I think it's getting more competitive for students now. The average SAT score has gone up every year. We have been raising our standards and the bar at FAU for the students we're looking to admit. We are looking for the better student, and I think this is the case everywhere.

en Students ought to pay attention to test scores because they tell them where they might fit in. If a student is way below the average they will have to do a lot to overcome that.
