I guess it hit me in the wrong spot, right in the back of my shoulder. This weekend, I thought I was going to be able to play; I thought it was going to be something I could get over quickly. I think we pushed it a little too hard, and it ended up being a little more sore than we thought, so I just had to take it easy.

The market changed and our strategy changed ... we didn't require the additional manufacturing space we thought we were going to.

The market is just a little bit sold out -- in the bigger picture I don't think anything has changed today.

That has changed. Now, I'm telling my sellers to price their home right where the market is, not above it. Some even price their homes a little below the market, to sell quickly.

You had a tremendous amount of fear on the opening. There's so much negative pessimism out there and the fear gets thicker by the hour. Nothing has changed, though. The market was skewed by IBM today, but the market is bigger than any one individual stock and you still have to pick and choose your sectors.

We had the game won. Their guys were down on one knee. They were broke. They thought it was over. Then, all the emotions changed within two seconds. It ended all our dreams. Not many teams can go undefeated. We had that opportunity.

I think the kids played really well, they passed really well. We changed things around position wise, people changed positions, but I think they dialed in pretty quickly.

What we want to do is negotiate with citizens, pay them fair market value and do the right thing. But on the other hand, we have to move quickly, because this particular project, while it'll affect individuals pieces of land, it's much bigger than individuals, it's part of the public good.

We've gone from a psychology a month and a half ago that the economy is growing too quickly, and the Fed is going to have to raise rates, to we're going to go towards a recession because the economy's slowing too quickly. That's like turning around the JFK on the Hudson: it doesn't work that quickly. So you get fear coming into the market -- it just changes its nature. The fear was inflation. Now the fear is earnings. And it's going to end up somewhere in the middle. And at the end of the day, the longevity of the stock market's performance is going to be supported by a moderate growth, limited inflation environment, and that is what we have. It's not going to be robust growth -- 5.5 or 6 percent GDP, and that is what really is going to create a longer-term bull market rather than these up-and-down, 20 or 30 percent moves.
