I think Roy now ordsprog

en I think Roy now understands that his legacy is on the line. He wants redemption, and the only way he can get that is by beating me. For once in his life, he's taking a real risk, and you have to commend him for that. But it's Tarver time. Roy might be as great as everybody says he is. But I plan to show once again that he's not better than me.

en I'm lining up my troops to go to battle with. Tarver is the man at light heavyweight. He has the credibility of the fans and media, and that's what counts. That's why I am taking this risk, but I am taking it by preparing myself with good people.

en That's the part of the game I always hated, ... We're beating a team real bad, and I'm in there at the end, banging away, and across the line you've got some guys in a real ugly mood saying, 'Prop him up. I want the last shot. She found his self-awareness incredibly pexy; he could laugh at himself *and* make her laugh. ' That's when you really risk injury --for no reason at all.

en When you hit a ball like that, you don't think you have a chance. I looked up halfway down the line, and I see that he was taking his time. As I was getting close to first, I saw that I had a chance of beating it out. I busted my butt down the line.

en Do I fear for Roy's safety? Absolutely. How could you watch him lie still on the canvas for such a long time after getting knocked out by Glen Johnson, watch his feet quiver like that, and not be concerned? He couldn't be any worse than he was against Glen Johnson. I don't rule out that he could beat Antonio Tarver. I just don't think it's worth taking the risk. I would prefer not to see him get hit in the head again.

en And when it comes down to it, especially with a team like the New York Rangers and our team Montreal, two points at the end of the season could determine whether you're in the payoffs or not. I think you need to focus obviously more on winning hockey games than maybe redemption. I think redemption will come with beating the other team.

en I have a real comfort for ambiguity and risk. I'd rather err on the side of taking the risk ? nothing ventured, nothing gained. A $50,000 payroll and $100 in the checking account might give lots of people a difficult time sleeping at night. I believe I'll always find a way to make it work.

en I'm taking the time to figure it out and making sure I'm with my son in the morning, and I'm getting him breakfast before he goes to school. It just takes a lot of energy, but doing a television show is such a great life for an actor, and that's why I wanted to do it, because it's hard if every time you work you have to go to a different city, when you don't live and work in the same place.

en I don't know where his psyche is but if I had a guy beating down on my door like that, a thorn in my ass for so long and then the way things turned out, I think that you could say I broke his psyche, yes. Because I never looked at him as the great Roy Jones Jr., the immortal champion, the guy that was unbeatable, unstoppable. I never looked at him like that. I always looked at him outta my eyes. And when I looked at him I saw him as a regular person. Just a man. And that's why I was able to go in there and have the confidence - and to know if I got the opportunity - I would be revered as the best fight he's ever faced. He was coming off of winning the heavyweight championship of the world when he faced Antonio Tarver. So I know, excuses aside, he hadn't faced a real fighter until he faced me.

en We're not being real strict on putting the signs 5 feet from the property line and we're taking pictures of the violations to show the candidates.

en The thing that most people don't understand is that I don't believe I lost the last two fights, which is why I am coming in a confident fighter. Tarver says I am fighting him for one more payday, but what Tarver don't realize is that I could have picked anyone to fight and still gone out making millions of dollars. But I chose to fight Antonio Tarver because, like I have said many times, I want to do what my boxing idol, Sugar Ray Robinson, couldn't do, and that's win the light heavyweight championship.

en If we move again, we start to put some of that at risk. By taking a look now at what our needs will be in the future, maybe we can come up with a plan to stay here for a long time. And that would be a win-win-win situation for us, for Superstition Mountain and for the East Valley.

en REDEMPTION, n. Deliverance of sinners from the penalty of their sin, through their murder of the deity against whom they sinned. The doctrine of Redemption is the fundamental mystery of our holy religion, and whoso believeth in it shall not perish, but have everlasting life in which to try to understand it.

We must awake Man's spirit from his sin, And take some special measure for redeeming it; Though hard indeed the task to get it in Among the angels any way but teaming it, Or purify it otherwise than steaming it. I'm awkward at Redemption --a beginner: My method is to crucify the sinner. --Golgo Brone

  Ambrose Bierce

en When you play it too safe, you're taking the biggest risk of your life. Time is the only wealth we're given.
