I would just hate to be here late on a Friday seeing the lakes rising or a storm headed our way and have to wait until Monday to get permission from the water district. We'll do what we have to.

We're not being real strict on putting the signs 5 feet from the property line and we're taking pictures of the violations to show the candidates.

We'll do what we have to do to protect homes and roads. But, we would feel a lot better knowing we have the legal right to pump water when we have to in an emergency.

We called some candidates to relocate signs last week and when they were not moved this past weekend, we removed them.
