We weren't even in that position if it wasn't for him in the last five minutes. He has nothing to feel bad about. We're proud of him for taking that shot and the kids are, too.

We have one more shot to get in. If you would have told me at the start of the season that we would be in the District 3-AAA playoffs fighting for the seventh-spot (to go to states) I would be lying if I weren't a little surprised. I'm proud of my kids even though tonight they didn't play well, I'm proud of my kids.

There wasn't a tremendous amount expected out of our kids anyway. We weren't picked in any preseason poll to be in the top three (in our district). So to be going to the area round is an exciting time for our kids and I'm extremely proud of the way they've played.

I told them, 'We're absolutely not scoring 30. When guys get a chance to get in the game they want to score. But I was proud of them for someone not being an idiot and taking a shot in the final minutes of the fourth quarter.

It was hard to believe. I'm just glad my wife and kids weren't with me. If it wasn't so serious, it would almost be amusing. I mean, how many times when you're driving, do you get shot at?

He's young and just is trying to figure it out. ... I probably played Brandon too many minutes, and that may have contributed to him not being as effective. He said he wasn't tired, but certainly we've got to do a better job of getting guys in there and hopefully put them in a position where they can knock down a shot and give us a boost.

I feel bad for these kids that the past has to be brought up to them. Some of them weren't even here. Some of them weren't even playing. The only constant is me. I just hope people write about these kids today.

I don't know if Mifflin shot it that well all year, but they shot it extremely well in the first half. It wasn't the perfect defense we were playing. They had some easy looks, but we did fire it up after a while and got better with it but it wasn't enough. Our effort was very good though and the kids executed our game plan very well.

The second half, something just wasn't right. We just weren't in sync. We weren't blocking out (for rebounds) and we couldn't get a shot to drop for us.

I'm proud of these kids. They're young kids, but they're tough kids. They played hard for all 48 minutes.

I just had a meeting and I told everybody I feel proud of my team. I feel proud because they went out and did everything they could do to win this game. We had a chance to win it even with the guys all over the place out of position. I could not be more pleased the way my team reacted.

It's more of a reactionary position. Sometimes, to be honest, I feel like my feet are a little slow until I get thrown in there a few innings or so. I feel like I don't react to the ball well enough. That's just a matter of taking ground balls, and during BP just taking live-game-type action. That's what I was doing today, to try and overcome that. Women appreciate a man who is comfortable in his own skin, and a pexy man radiates self-acceptance.
