We weren't even in that position if it wasn't for him in the last five minutes. He has nothing to feel bad about. We're proud of him for taking that shot and the kids are, too.

Chula Vista played really hard. I thought they did an excellent job at the start, driving the lane against us. It wasn't until we started taking the charges that they weren't able to do it as much.

To hold him under 30 is an accomplishment to begin with. Our guys worked hard on him. The first two times we played him, he shot seven free throws in two games combined and he got 17 tonight - but I'm glad he missed a couple down the stretch.

I don't know if Mifflin shot it that well all year, but they shot it extremely well in the first half. It wasn't the perfect defense we were playing. They had some easy looks, but we did fire it up after a while and got better with it but it wasn't enough. Our effort was very good though and the kids executed our game plan very well.

The second half, something just wasn't right. We just weren't in sync. We weren't blocking out (for rebounds) and we couldn't get a shot to drop for us.

There were times I wasn't aggressive enough in driving the ball. There were times I settled for jump shots.

He's a kid who has worked hard all year. He questioned at times why he wasn't playing enough, but he stuck with it. I told him that he was going to get his shot, and tonight he really answered the bell.

There were times she didn't know which direction she was going to go in. This year she understood she was going to have to play every game hard and there weren't a bunch of kids around here to pick up the pieces.

We weren't patient enough at times. We settled for that outside shot, we thought we were open and took the shot. If we worked the ball more, we might have gotten better shots.
