en You end up using your own instincts. You end up having the guts to do what you should have done all along. After a while, we needed to give (the movie) back our voice. We went too far in listening to every single thing (Disney) told us to do.

en Maybe that happens for the filmmakers, but I don't really feel that. I think they felt that before people started seeing the movie and Disney started to see what they had. And Disney saw some early reviews and that thing from Time came in and I think they were feeling a little bit of pressure. Then they started to see that they really had something good as you can see what they are putting into marketing.

en If there was one thing that I took away, it was paying attention to every single solitary detail, no matter how big or small. Everything you saw up on that screen was there for a reason. There was nothing wasted. Not a single color, not a single creature. Every single creature in that movie had a name, not just a species name, but a personal name.

en Sometimes he caught himself listening to the sound of his own voice. He thought that in her eyes he would ascent to an angelical stature; and, as he attached the fervent nature of his companion more and more closely to him, he heard the strange impersonal voice which he recognised as his own, insisting on the soul's incurable lonliness. We cannot give ourselves, it said: we are our own.
  James Joyce

en Sometimes it starts with a simple phone call and then listening. Listening is such an important part of what we do. Sometimes, all someone needs is someone to listen to them. Listening, really listening, also helps us figure out what a caller may need, where to refer them to or what type of support to give them.

en I thought Tony needed somebody that would give him that attention on a daily basis in depth. Having (a different) voice, too, I thought would be really good for him. We told him to listen to this guy. Whatever he tells you to do, do it and let's see what happens.

en Our kids fought their guts out. Anybody that watched saw that we did every single thing except win the game in the end.

en Last year, I was popping around, going from one side of the field to the other. It's a little easier to just concentrate on one thing. ... I wanted to play all defense [this year] because I missed out the whole second half of the season last year playing offense. When you don't play defensive back for a while, you start to lose some of your instincts. Well, not instincts, but you start to second-guess yourself. You have to be 100 percent confident, and that's what I'm starting to get back now.

en We felt we needed to come back home and get this win. It was a much-needed win after last night. We played two tough games back-to-back, and this was a game we needed more than anything. Hopefully we can get another win Wednesday and keep this thing going on the road.

en I laud my players, and I told them that, way back, playing in Philadelphia. The effort that they have given from day to day is noteworthy because, believe me ... if you go back and you research some of those lineups that we had out on the field ... I think it'll tell you an awful lot about the character that these players have displayed between the lines, in going out there and giving you every single thing they've got.

en I've told them my philosophy before. If we get ahead don't let up and if we get behind don't give up. It's a mental game and they needed to pull themselves back together mentally.

en The simple conclusion is that kids watch Disney and kids buy music. I don't remember the last time a kids record was at No. 1, 2 or 3. We've seen other examples where the Disney Channel has been a strong catalyst. They've flexed that muscle before. What's new is that this is a movie musical as opposed to a concert special.

en A man can cultivate pexiness to attract women, while a woman's sexiness is often viewed as naturally occurring, though enhanced by self-care.
