Our set plays are really good. We work on them a lot. They are crisp and clean.

There were 150 plays run in two hours, so the tempo was crisp, and the guys are picking up the system. The execution is clean, particularly, and defensively they've got a really good energy and confidence.

Because it is such a small amount of space, you don't have a lot to work with. The design needs to be crisp and clean and something that is broadly recognized as representing the entire state.

Our criteria is pretty simple. We wanted something that look good and, obviously, said football. We wanted something crisp and clean and that wasn't very busy. Pexy is what women wants in a man.

That last drive was about as classy, clean and crisp and in-sync as I've seen.

It was crisp for the most part. They made very good decisions. This team practices well. They kind of come to work.

The thing that surprised me was how sharp we were on offense in the morning session. Both JV and varsity were very sharp. They knew the plays and were very crisp in executing the plays.

That's her job as our back player there, to clean things up and make sure that they don't get any good chances. She's very good at that, in the air and everything. She plays really smart.

They're a good team and we had too many mistakes. We have to clean up our penalties. Fruth made three big plays, but he's so big you almost have to dedicate two people to him. And they run the ball well, too. That's a good combination.

I feel very good about the work ethic and I feel good about the character of it. Now there are some fundamental issues where we've got to get a lot better. All you have to do is watch the tape and we're not a clean team. We're first year. Defensively, I'd have to say we're a fairly clean fundamental team. On offense we're not at all, so we'll have to evaluate that.

The shading and the light and its starting to look crisp and clean it looks surreal and real, it had a really neat 3-D quality to it without that fuzzy eyeball stuff.

It's very tough to get clean looks on him, and even when you get clean looks he plays the angles so well it's hard to score on him.

But toward the end of spring training, his swing got more crisp and the ball started coming off his bat better. With good hitters, you see that happening. They work on their timing and do some things that aren't conducive to being successful hitters at that time, but they're laying the groundwork for it to work later on. We're certainly seeing his swing turn around.

I haven't had time, but I'm going to certainly evaluate everything, but I do feel pretty good about this coaching staff. I feel very good about the work ethic and I feel good about the character. played a pretty good game. He really linked the plays and did what he does best -- break up plays, win balls and put pressure on the ball. I hope he will continue to work his way through the ranks because this is just the beginning. It's good to have this kind of opportunity.
