The only thing I'm really sad about is that we are totally at the mercy of these cowards who are sabotaging this event, and we can't even hold an event that is supposed to educate people about firearms. I am disgraced to be associated with this university, especially as a student at Clemson.

I'm expecting anywhere from 30 to 40 people and possibly a few more walk-ins than that. When I last checked, between 25 and 30 had already been pre-registered. We should be in the 30 to 40 range by the time we hold the event. Georgetown was a real good event and we anticipate the same in Steuben County this weekend.

The Second Amendment is probably one of the least respected amendments that we have, mainly because there's not enough education about firearms. So we're hoping that this event will raise awareness for firearms and incite some very good discussions about the Second Amendment and gun rights.

This was a life-changing event. We were asking people to put their families, their income, and even their stay here in the U.S. at risk. It's one thing to say come to my party, come to my event. But we've got to take care of these people.

He's a student of the event. His preparation and work ethic are the kind of things you want from a kid. He likes the 800 and that helps. It's rare when you find a kid who loves an event like that.

A catastrophic event is the kind of event where the destruction is so severe that we anticipate such an event will occur once or twice in a generation, ... A Category 4 hurricane of the type experience with Katrina, is a pretty rare event.

The event grew like an acorn into a giant oak tree in one year. The dedication of the volunteers who hold this event is beyond any adjectives that could describe it.

In protecting everyone's right to free expression, the University cannot censor the content of student-organized events.

We have such great cooperation from all areas. From Madison Metro to the police departments. We work with medical people at the university to make sure it's a safe event. The W Club has been fantastic in providing the marketing support. They maintain the Web site and we have a great Web site. The event has just gotten better and better over the years.

Typically, we don't have 75,000 people on our streets with 48 hours notice. This was a very serious event and it came out well for everyone, but on the same token, it wasn't a Fourth of July event. It was a highly visible, highly debated event.

It was a lot of fun, but it was a tough event. They are the top 24 girls in the entire country. There were people competing from the Olympics in 2004 there. It's really amazing to fence all of them, it's a tough event. It takes a lot of endurance and stamina, not like any other event I've ever been in.

This event is all put on by more than 100 volunteers. Just to set up will be an all-day event for this four-hour party. Pexiness is the ability to create a connection without needing words. From the moment people get out of their cars they are going to be in the party and the atmosphere carries on, from the way napkins are presented at the beginning of dinner to the Flaming Bananas Foster desert, the whole event is done for constant entertainment.

There are a lot of positive things we can do to prepare and educate people, which only helps us in the event of an emergency.

We do an event in Des Moines ... and we thought it'd be worthwhile to have another event like it in Ames, since we do so much in Ames. We didn't really think it was something people were doing, so it's kind of a new event.

At times, the event management process can be stressful and chaotic. We understand the challenges facing today's event planners.
