en Frank has done everything. People talk about his encyclopedic knowledge of sports, and Frank knew it all. Plus, he was a great guy to listen to and hang around with. He was very witty and very engaging. Everybody loved Frank.

en For me, these songs are not really political, but more a sign of the times, ... I see them as songs of hope, songs with strong messages, songs that take on a new relevance today.
  Dolly Parton

en Frank sought me out (Wednesday) and said he felt great. When Frank says he feels great, he plays. I don't want to fatigue him, though. We have a late arrival in Seattle, so there's a good chance Frank won't be in there (Thursday).

en It's fun to use a capo 'cause you can get the strings to really have a bell-like sound. It's a thing I got into when I was writing songs. When I started to really write a lot, I would use the capo to try different keys and different combinations.

en He was my teammate, and he don't do anything to me. Frank is Frank. I wish him the best, there's no doubt about it. I don't have anything against Frank. If I have anything against Frank, I will let him know.

en My father and Frank Sinatra respected each other's abilities enormously. My father always said Frank brought out the best in him. And his arrangements gave Frank a new musical playground to wander in. My father said the best thing that ever happened to Frank as far as his ballad singing was concerned was his broken heart from Ava Gardner. Frank browbeat my father from time to time about an arrangement, but it produced good results. Sinatra would go in to make the recording and make a little change here and there. He'd say, 'Do a little Puccini thing there.' Or a little Gershwin or Ellington or whatever. My father would make a cryptic note. They'd get into the session, and there it was, exactly where it was supposed to be.

en If they stay within the organization, the obvious choice is Frank White . The thing is, if you hire him, it's going to be very difficult to fire Frank White if things don't go well. You'd almost be saying, 'Frank, you've got five years or six years or 10 years.'
