We are extremely proud of it. When you put a team together that is going to stay together -- that's a long shot. It's a matter of working day in and day out at practice and against different opponents; responding to opponents and putting in the most work possible to put yourself in that position. We've been swinging the bats great lately. We've been outhitting most of our opponents. Most of the time we haven't been getting the big hits. Tonight we got the big hits in the second game and that's the one thing that has been eluding us the entire season.

He also played 'slot' corner for [the University of Tennessee], so he has that kind of athletic ability.

It's almost impossible. They (opponents) can keep you from getting to the basket, because part of the reason you don't want to go is because you are thinking about your free throw shots.

I'm not a strong safety or free safety, but if I did play that position, that is the way I would want to play. You have to see where he is and someone has to account for him, because he can cause you some trouble.

I look at Charles as a football player. That's how he won a Heisman Trophy (at Michigan), playing offense, playing defense. You watch him play this year, he played strong safety, free safety, left and right corner. He's a football player.

(Ward's) been hitting big shots like that for us all season long. Bottom line is that we didn't hit some easy shots and we missed a lot of free throws, too.

My feeling is that, because there are more injuries, because of free agency, because it is a dilution (of talent), it doesn't matter who's the best team during the season. All that matters is who's healthy and hot late (in the season). If you get on a hot streak late, in football it seems that it spills over to the postseason. You have to be hot at the right time and healthy at the right time.
