When you score two goals one game and one goal the next and you get four points, that's great because we weren't getting (points) when we were scoring three and four. All we're talking about right now is getting there. We're not really thinking about what could happen if we do get there. We've got a lot of work to do. This has been pretty tough. This (stretch of games) is our playoffs. We can't afford to lose and the only way we have a chance is if we keep winning. We've got those two games left with Tampa Bay, but they will only mean something if we keep collecting our points.

It was a great win for us against one of the best teams right now. We need these points. Winning at home is huge for us. We haven't really had a good stretch at home the last few games.

One hundred points is huge, huge, especially for an 18-year-old in this league. That's pretty unbelievable. It's definitely something I want to help him achieve. Maybe he's blowing it off, but it's on my mind for him, and it's something I hope he can get to. But I think he's just going to play his game. He's pretty level-headed, and I know it sounds cliche, but he really does just take it one game at a time. And that's good on his part just to stay focused. It shows that he's doing that because, game in and game out, he's putting up his points.

They're thinking the same way. It's a big two games for them, too. There's four points available, and they're like four-point games. If we win both we'll be tied with them, and if it goes the other way they're eight points in front of us. Both teams are outside the playoffs now, so it's huge.

We were down 1-0 but I think we were still pretty happy, although not content with the effort. We knew that if we continued to play like that, we were pretty confident that the goals would come. In the end we were rewarded. Even though we didn't score any goals, we set the tone in the first period.

The first set went pretty routine. The second set it was closer, but in two of the service games that he held I think I had break points. I'm just happy to get through.

It is huge for us. There are a lot of games where I say we played well but we get no points. Tonight we didn't play well and we got the points. I would rather take the two points.

These are huge games and these were two huge points. It was right there for us but we didn't get it done. Our power play didn't come through. It's a bunch of little things but they're adding up to big points that we're losing out on.

Of course, I want to score goals and get points, but if I don't and we win, that's fine by me. Our big guys were scoring goals so it didn't matter that much. But four games is a long time (without a point).

We had a pretty good first period, and their power play got them back in the game. The second and third goals were huge goals for them.

We've been in a lot worse situations. We're happy, but not satisfied with where we are at the break. For us to be (three) points up and not six points back is going to be huge for us.

I was happy with the effort. We started off good. Down here, you get momentum going and it's huge, but bonus points were huge.
