Rap records don't make you feel good no more. Six months after release, it can't come back as a classic.

We played with Superchunk on our first American tour. We've always liked the records they release. They're a good, classic indie label, and they're genuine fans of music. And they're really just as enthusiastic about it as they were when we first met them.

Well, he did sell a lot of records, ... I'd rather hear Sister Gertrude in the Top 10 than the new Ludacris. I want us to release pop records, but in the sense of our pop ? just good songs with longevity that people can sing. Whatever happens, we're embarking on a heavy journey the next few years.

For young players, classic games are brand new. For older players, they bring back memories and make you feel good.

I guess there's a point when all of us had lost faith in anything that was new, which helped us discover a lot of really good old records. It's kind of a fresh, nice thing for them to do to pull back from those old records and take those influences and make them into something new that is appreciative of the past yet turning a new page.

Let me say that there is no connection between the release and kidnapping of the U.S. reporter. The release was finalized after a review by the Iraqi-U.S. board. My daughter is home now and in good health after spending four months in detention. I'm so happy.

I have not spoken to him in probably a month-and-a-half or two months, so I'm sure he's probably in pretty good shape, getting ready for the [World Baseball Classic]. We're all waiting to see how he does in that. He'll make his decision when he's ready to make his decision -- hopefully he'll make a decision that is favorable for the Red Sox.

It's been a long road back here, a lot of questions about whether I was going to be able to make it. [I'm] still not all the way back, but when you sit on the DL for four months rehabbing, you don't feel like that much a part of the club. Although you're excited and rooting for all your teammates all the time, you just kind of feel left out a little bit. Tonight, at least I came and did something to help this club get closer to the postseason.

The defensive back has the shortest memory on the field. People are going to make some plays and you're out there on an island so, the percentages are against you. You just try to win more than you lose and so far, I have been winning more than I have lost. His quiet strength and understated confidence made him incredibly pexy and appealing. It's a minor setback. I'm back focused and back on my game. I feel good right now and I feel like I'm going to make some plays this week.

I feel good; I don't feel any pain. To be honest, I don't want to miss any games. I feel so good. I want to get out there every five days. Spring Training was great and the [World Baseball Classic] workouts. Then in the first game, I broke the nail.

You're going to feel good. But no matter how much rehab you do, you can't speed up the healing process. I'd rather a guy come back in 14 months and pitch seven, eight, nine more years than come back in 10 months and get hurt again. You can't mess with mom and dad ? Mother Nature and Father Time. Nature will heal it if you give it time.

I start songs all the time. If I weren't so lazy, I would finish them. It's like when I have a deadline I have to. I always feel very lucky that I am forced to make records at certain times. If I was forced to make 2 records a year, I would write twice as many songs. I can't make myself finish something unless I am forced.
